A Media Coordinator who has a passion for learning and is excited by the opportunity to challenge themselves. With a willingness to learn, they will be exposed to all areas of media planning & buying and given the opportunity to have a hand in how their future media career path is crafted.

With strong attention to detail, they will be comfortable working in a positive, open environment with regular communication with all levels of the business.

1. Key Skills 

  • Be proactive in developing knowledge and expertise in both traditional and digital media products and services both internally and with key media/external suppliers. 

  • Regularly maintain up to date research and knowledge of the competitive market and media landscape. 

  • Continue to work with the Media33 team to learn tactics that will best support the growth of our agency and our business partners (clients). 

  • Proactively seek to upskill and improve system and process knowledge 

  • Be accountable for personal self-development and achievement plans to ensure professional goals are fulfilled 

 

2. Key Tasks 

Proactively provide support and embrace joint responsibility with Executives & Managers for client activity and internal reporting activity in the following areas:- 

 

  • Booking procedure – assisting with development of media plans, entering, checking confirmations, providing client with confirmations and/or campaign updates 

  • Assistance with material instructions and related creative support in various platforms 

  • Client pre and post times and required reporting  

  • Account Queries, Monitoring, support in optimisation and Follow Up 

  • Development and management of filling systems to ensure effective workflow 

  • Support teams with key client tactics and broader marketing initiatives including digital media initiatives and platforms including Google and Facebook. 

  • Various projects when delegated 

 

3. Understanding & Involvement   

  • Ensure the management of key processes and disciplines 

  • Provide support regarding processes and systems to ensure optimum streamlined performance  

  • Begin to develop key relationships with media suppliers 

  • Begin to develop knowledge of client base and key categories within 

4. Account Management & Reporting 

  • Maintain monthly tracking & reporting for relevant clients 

  • Ensure regular attendance and positive contribution at internal meetings  

  • Ensure attendance to ‘all office’ media meetings, as well as relevant internal and external training sessions 

  • Assist team with accurate management of invoicing and required materials for processing payments from the media.

The Media Store internship program

For any final-year university students who are required to complete a work placement, we offer flexible one-day-a-week semester-based programs. Successful interns will learn where media agencies fit into the communication process and the value we bring to our client’s marketing goals. You will have the opportunity to support the full account team in the above-the-line digital and performance media campaign development and reporting. You may be involved in desktop research, competitive analysis, sourcing media rates, material instructions and proof of appearance collation.

DESIRED SKILLS:

  • Demonstrate an interest in and appetite for working in a media agency
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products – particularly Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Be curious and willing to learn
